Site directors at your schools will
receive complete testing instructions, test booklets, and compact disks. Middle and High School teachers testing in their own school will be asked to have their students fill out the personal information sections of the test answer sheets CreatedFLES teachers will be receiving their own testing materials directly. |
| Feb. 18-27 | FLES teachers will test their own students in their elementary schools. |
| Mar. 5 | All FLES answer sheets must be sent by the teacher to arrive at the national scoring center (to Ken Tindle) by this date. |
| Mar. 6-7 | The contest for levels 01-5 is administered in Middle and High Schools. |
| Mar. 8 | Site directors must return completed answer sheets postmarked on this date to Ted Haldeman, local Contest Administrator. |
| Mar. 12 | Contest Administrator will notify FLES teachers which of their students need to be recorded. |
| Mar. 24 | Site directors can return test booklets and compact disks to French teachers who participated in the Contest. |
| Mar. 26 | Deadline for recordings of FLES students to be sent to Jennifer Shaf for evaluation. |
| Apr. 2 ??? | Deadline to enter t-shirt logo design contest. |
| Early April | Local/Chapter/Preliminary results will be available and e-mailed to participating teachers at this time. |
| Mid April | National results and confirmed local results will be available and e-mailed to participating teachers at this time. |

May 10 May 17 |
Prizes and certificates will be available for teachers to pick up at locations to be announced (one north and one west suburban high school). |
